As the lead practitioner for all UX work for the company, you will interact with the development team and provide all requirements needed to develop or change features. This may include researching, designing and prototyping experiences for the web-application, phones or tablets. Necessary tasks would include validating user needs and business objectives, writing and designing functional specification, content requirement, IXD, IA, as well as graphic design activities in applications such as Photoshop and Illustrator. After a release, you will need to conduct usability tests to validate the prototype, or otherwise make recommendations for additional improvements. Other activities include wireframing and paper prototyping, prototyping in tools such as Balsamiq or in native web technology, writing or tracking requirements in various tools, and other UX-related activities. Job Requirements- Completed a Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, Information Design, Digital Design or another related field
- Know when to use qualitative vs quantitative data, and apply UX techniques such as card sorting, paper prototyping, task analysis, and usability testing.
- Knowledge of relevant software such as Illustrator, Photoshop, Balsamiq, Omnigraffle
- Able to program and develop extreme prototype in native web technology (HTML, CSS and Javascript)
- Know how to operate in Scrum framework and deliver against weekly objectives
- Experience in mobile usability (iOS, Android) is a plus
