Casengo is affordable social customer support software in the cloud, enabling companies to provide customer service through social networks, email or chat. We blend complex technology with simple usability, which is why we like to call ourselves “the smarter customer support app”. Join a young, international team – and make an impact. As the lead practitioner for all UX work for the company, you will interact with the development team and provide all requirements needed to develop or change features. This may include researching, designing and prototyping experiences for the web-application, phones or tablets. Necessary tasks would include validating user needs and business objectives, writing and designing functional specification, content requirement, IXD, IA, as well as graphic design activities in applications such as Photoshop and Illustrator. After a release, you will need to conduct usability tests to validate the prototype, or otherwise make recommendations for additional improvements. Other activities include wireframing and paper prototyping, prototyping in tools such as Balsamiq or in native web technology, writing or tracking requirements in various tools, and other UX-related activities. Sometimes you may also be asked to research and create reports about the needs of users. You’ll join our international development team located in the center of Amsterdam. Job Requirements- Completed a Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, Information Design, Digital Design or another related field

  • Know when to use qualitative vs quantitative data, and apply UX techniques such as card sorting, paper prototyping, task analysis, and usability testing.
  • Knowledge of relevant software such as Illustrator, Photoshop, Balsamiq, Omnigraffle
  • Able to program and develop extreme prototype in native web technology (HTML, CSS and Javascript)
  • Know how to operate in Scrum framework and deliver against weekly objectives
  • Experience in mobile usability (iOS, Android) is a plus
